Week Commencing 04/06/2018

Tuesday we were at Moorways for Quicksticks Hockey competition which saw 9 schools attend including, St Marys Primary, Oakwood Juniors, Ravensdale Juniors all brining two teams, Mickleover Primary, Chellaston Juniors and Zaytouna Primary. All of the teams played lots of games against each other, and the winners overall were Mickleover Primary.

Wednesday morning we had Secondary Girls Cricket at Spondon Cricket Club, which saw 2 schools attend including, West Park school with 2 teams and Bemrose School so both of the schools got the chance to play each and the winners were West Park School.

Wednesday afternoon we were back at Spondon Cricket Club for our Primary Girls Cricket which saw 8 schools attend including, Reigate Park Primary, St James Juniors, Portway Juniors, Oakwood Juniors, Ravensdale Juniors, Arboretum Primary, Lawn Primary and Homefields Primary. All of the schools got the chance to play lots of games against different schools, and the winners were St James Juniors.

Thursday evening we were at West Park School for our Quadkids Athletics which saw 12 schools attend including, St James Juniors, Bemrose School, Cavendish Close Juniors with 3 teams, Silverhill Primary with 2 teams, Chellaston Juniors, St Peters Juniors, Portway Juniors, Ravensdale Juniors and Homefields Primary. All of the school competed in Long Jump, Javelin, 600 meters run and a 75 meters Sprint. The winning teams were Cavendish Close Juniors and Chellaston Juniors.

Friday we were at Willows Sports Centre for the whole day for our Skipping and Hooping Festival which saw 5 schools attend in the morning including, Dale Primary, Walter Evans Primary, Brackensdale Infants and Portway Infants with 2 teams. In the afternoon we had 5 schools attend including, Pear Tree Juniors, Ashcroft Primary, Cottons Farm Primary, Redwood Primary and Bishop Lonsdale. All of the teams played lots of different Hooping and Skipping activities.
