We are delighted to offer pupils in schools across the City the chance to take part in a creative writing competition based upon the Olympic and Paralympic Values - with an exciting prize for the winners.
Schools are asked to submit the best entries from amongst their pupils by Monday 7 February 2012. These will then be read by a panel of judges and the writers of the stories that best show the impact of Values upon the their life will be invited to work with professional film makers to turn their work into a short film as part of the First Light Film City Academy.
The short films will be entered in the Film Nation competition and may be shown on the Olympic Park, as well as being shown on Derby's own big screen.
The attached resources provide further information on the competition.
Entries are limited to one side of A4 and should be emailed to will.evans@derbycityssp.co.uk
