Year 5 & 6 City Sportshall Athletics Final

Winners from each family sportshall atheltics competition, qualified to enter the city finals which were held at Moorways on 20th January 2009.
East & West schools competed separately and participated in a variety of track and field events.
Results are as follows:
West Schools
1st - Gayton Junior
2nd - Mickleover Primary
3rd - Markeaton Primary
4th - Bishop Lonsdale CE primary
5th - St Josephs RC primary
6th - Brookfield Primary
7th - Redwood Junior
East Schools:
1st - Springfield Primary
2nd - Cavendish Close Junior
3rd - Shelton Junior
4th - Chellaston Junior
5th - Moorhead Primary
6th - Derwent Community
The winning team from both East and West will compete in the County Sportshall Athletics finals being held at Moorways on 3rd March. Good luck!
