Derby City (East/West) Basketball Competition
Derby City (East/West) Basketball Competition
Released: 26th February 2009 at 11:00 AM
4 schools entered teams into the first Derby City Basketball competition. They each received coaching from Clarence Wiggins, Trailblazers Men's Div 1 Coach, before taking part in a round-robin tournament. The results were as follows:
Derby East Winners: Chellaston Junior School
Derby West Winners: Ashcroft Primary School
Both schools have now qualified for the County Final at Moorways on Saturday 21st March, prior to a Trailblazers game.
