Year 7 Futsal Results
Congratulations to the Chellaston Year 7 Futsal team, who won the Derby City SSP Year 7 Futsal Tournament at Bemrose.
Teams from Chellaston, Landau Forte, Derby Moor and Bemrose competed, with Chellaston going through the competition undefeated - four wins and two draws. Landau Forte were the highest placed team from Derby West.
The competition was refereed by Marc Birkett, who used the event as a warm-up for officiating at the European Futsal Championships, which takes place in Croatia next month.
The format of the competition allowed schools to played six games of five minutes each way, ensuring a quick turn around for players and lots of touches for every player.
Thanks to Bemrose for hosting the event for the second year. We look forward to welcoming more schools to the event in future years.
