Here’s how to enter our #Road2Rio Baton Relay design competition…..


We are asking schools to come up with a design for our official #Road2Rio baton which will be used in a number of initiatives in the build up to the summer Olympics and Paralympics.

The design must:

Be approx 29.5cm x 10.5cm (Around about half a sheet of A4 when split vertically.)
Reflect themes such as:

The Olympics and Paralympics
The SSP values of-

Skills for Life
Opportunities or ALL


Local schools show their steel in Sheffield

Woodlands School Girls and Merrill Academy Boys put in strong performances whilst representing Derby at the Kinder+ Schools Midlands Futsal Cup.


The Football League Trust’s Futsal Programme was in full swing on Tuesday 12th January as we saw Sheffield Wednesday Community Trust host the Kinder+ Schools Midlands Futsal Cup at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

100% Landau Retain Title

Landau Forte College¬†retained the U14 Girls’ Football Title with a 100% record throughout the competition.

After taking the title in good style last year, the team of year 7, 8 and 9 pupils won all 15 matches this year to take the final trophy of 2015.

Despite the unbeaten record Landau Forte were made to work hard in the final against a strong West Park team, going behind early on before coming through to win 4-1.
