The last couple of weeks have seen lots of action as we move towards May with schools taking part Orienteering at Darley Park, Basketball Plus, Year 1 & 2 Gymnastics and a Primary Change 4 Life Champions Conference.
Orienteering made it’s return to our events calendar after a long absence and was taken up by a number of schools, thanks to a great offer of support from the staff at Darley Barn.

Ravensdale Junior School Pupil and winner of our #Road2Rio baton design competition, Charlie Rutter, yesterday got the chance to take a tour of St George’s Park and meet Jack Rutter, the captain of the England Cerebral Palsy Football Team.
Charlie’s Design won the #Road2Rio competition back in March following over 1000 entries from schools across Derby. The baton has now been printed several times with the hope that it will travel the world and hopefully make it to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in the summer.
