Derby City School Sport Partnership is looking for an outgoing, confident and skilled young person to assist with the smooth running of our events.
Derby City School Sport Partnership works closely with primary, secondary and special schools to develop opportunities in PE, Sport and Physical Activity for young people in Derby. Working with approximately 65 affiliated schools, we offer a calendar of 150+ events every year. We provide opportunities for children from 4 years old to 18 years old to take part in a variety of activities such as sports competitions, physical activity festivals and our flagship event, the Celebration of Dance.
The Events Assistant(s) will work alongside our SSP Team, supporting the delivery of high quality events and programmes that engage young people in School Sport and Physical Activity. You will gain a vital understanding of event management, leadership training and national initiatives and programmes that shape our work. Typically, we will have approximately 8 hours per week of casual work available during school term time.
If you’re passionate about sport and physical activity and have experience of being a sports leader, we want to hear from you!
The Events Assistant(s) casual work will start in September 2017.
