February 3

First week back after half term and we hope you were all refreshed and rearing to go. Our event calendar got back up and running with KS1 and Year 3/4 Sportshall Athletics on Wednesday 27th. The morning’s session was with KS1 athletes representing Walter Evans Primary, Roe Farm Primary, Silverhill Primary, Ashgate Primary, Meadow Farm Primary, Parkview Primary, Bemrose Primary. The athletes took part in 7 different activities; chest push, javelin, long jump, vertical jump, target throw, speed bounce and a beanbag relay. The scores were recorded for each individual and then we compared the best scores for the boys and girls in each event, rewarding the highest scoring child.
